Collecting Porsche wheels hopefully, did you sort the t25 in the end? I used to be mobile and I like a bit of a drive fix
Not really, the 25 was mullered i think. And i lost my mind with it. Sold it for 3k and recouped most of the money i put in but none of the time, and to be honest i was glad to see the back of it in the end. A real weight off my mind and a good learning curve. If you want to come up and do the electrics, and you think you will be happy to do so, PM me your fee mate, and book it in.
Sounds like a good result ,electrics on these old vehicles is simple ,if you have a tester, it is a joy....(coming from someone who detests electrics at first) ,btw I have no idea when it comes to wiring diagrams ... think you need power to the gearbox ,then when the box is in neutral ,the switch sends 12v to the rear lights...I don't think you need them for a mot..
reversing lights wire from + on coil to inline fuse holder fuse holder to terminal on gearbox switch other terminal on gearbox switch to light bulb
Hi mate. The terminal I have on gearbox has 1 black and 1 brown wire and thats it The brown has an eyelet for a bolt as if it were negative and the black was just cut off. I am going to try and read a wiring diagram but if you get this just let me know what you think.
You are looking for a switch that looks like a brake light switch, 2 terminals. It's in the left side of the nosecone.
Not an auto. There are two terminals, one above the other. The top one has brown cable coming down and the bottom has a black cable. The brown has a black osleeve partially over it.
They are usually here, but I did have a gearbox with both once. The one you have is for something else but can't remember what!
