i feel like 0.5mm is not going to be enough. Was yours the same as mine then?

  2. Sounds like it @PSG I used 2 to take it to 1mm. Stil very close but doesn't touch. I was going to laser cut some pads out at 1mm and 1.5

you could do them like the cv spacers so it is two washers bridged by a joining piece. Then you can waste less material and decrease your plot line by 'ying yanging' the shape of it. Would speed up the process too. PS. I am actually a dab at 2D CAD, just couldnt be bothered to actually work out real sizes to draw to. ;)

What was the internal diameter/hole size of the washer? Just so I don't have to carry the bolts to the shop with me

  5. They are 14 mm. The thread is 1.5 in case you need longer ones @PSG

It's not as low as I hoped on the front.

    needs adjusters.

Did you fit them the right way up? :D
Doesn't look like it's been lowered at all!

I know lol. Feeling like they were pointless. They are 14 inch steels though.

I'm not liking the amount of work that is needed to fit adjusters either.

Here's a standard height empty van - assume yours is more or less empty? Yours is a good bit lower. :)

Well I will just concentrate on mot now anyway. You are right I forgot about the furniture. Plus not even driven it yet. Getting sidetracked a bit. Got a hole in the cab floor to finish welding and then make sure all the lights work and that's it.

So i have started to tackle the electrics. My rhs headlight keeps blowing a fuse on low beam. Hazard lights only work on the front. I sorted sidelight/indicater from U.S. spec to U.K. spec. I have to do the rear now.

I hate doing electrics. My under dash area is a right old mess. Fuse box was half full with lots of empty slots, and all the full ones had 16A fuses, regardless of if they were meant to be 8.

Still need to work out how to wire the reverse light up, is it just one cable from the gearbox to the lights? Wish someone local would come and do it for me for some money.

This is the last few hurdles for the moment to get it MOT ready. And probably the most tedious.

Welded the last of the cab floor (hole wise) and there are areas that need attention later on, but not an issue for a long while.

Extended the window clamp/channel that holds the glass, if anyone rememebers, it was made incorrectly and the window wouldn't wind up all the way to the top. However, the winder mech has now pretty much died, it skips a lot and this side is difficult to wind up.

Engine works, starts well, still has a small issue. When idling, if you punch the throttle it drops revs significantly like it is suffocating, but if you gently depress the accelerator, it revs up as expected.

After MOT is done, will be looking at the BA6 to try and get that runing, im sure @davidoft will be getting a call ;)

Check the side light bulbs, they have two connections but the bulb earths it self through the head light. Disconnect it and see if the fuse still blows. Not sure about your hazards though, should be a simple fix if the front and rear indicators work.

its not life or death, and its a long way for you to come. The scenario at present is that i have no idea how to fix it, i could learn it in a very clunky manner but i feel like it will take me so long that it is going to put so much distance between now and it's MOT/UK registration, that it is a bit disheartening.

however if you have to come to Maidstone anyway, and i am still no further with the progress and you can come and rectify the whole lot, that would be a perfect scenario.

What are you doing in maidstone anyway?
