My favorite has been 'Northern Exposure'.... loved that also to mind are Bottom, Peep show, Blackadder, and I'm Alan Partridge
Double yes!! We don't tend to hang on to them either, but we've still got Green Wing. Others we've enjoyed: 30 Rock (came across almost by accident, shows tha Yanks can do silly humour too) Curb (obviously) House Dexter Spaced Nighty Night Wilfred (the aussie original)
Inspector Montebano The Killing - Original Only Fools Just good friends The Prisoner - Not the crap remake Lovejoy

How's about 'Survivors' box set? A scary Terry Nation (creator of Dr Who and Blake's 7) series from the mid to late seventies about the survivors of a deadly virus which killed 99% of the world's population. Hadn't seen it for over 30 years and it's still as good as it was then! If you want a peek, have a look at Youtube:
Ive watched the original survivors series a fair few times and read the book aswell The modern remake was no where near as good as the original
