Thank you all for the good comments makes it worth doing even moreAnd I am a long way from finishing so I think that your bus @paradox will be on the road first I
I WAS looking at this yesterday. I remember thinking how good it is and you are the guy to show me some welding techniques. I absolutely love this resto. Along with a couple of others it is top notch.
I'm glad there is a swear filter because bloody *****ing ****ing **** that took some balls and it looks fantastic.
This is real inspiration, I'll never do as good a job as this I just haven't got the skill or patience, cracking job!
Keep looking in and continue to be impressed and inspired to get on with mine .. where are you with it now... ? Saw your other post about this post, they always fall off real quick if you dont load them up with pics, pics pics pics.... keep posting were all watching Your resto reminds me of the other one I followed on VZI by happystamps, true nut case... dragged a broken shell home, most bits missing, but persevered and built the blooming thing on the tightest budget in the open... another inspired build... a good build thread is a great comfort for the rest of us with rusty busses keep up the excellent work...
Just read your whole resto! Amazing work! Well done man, well impressive! We have our maiden camping trip in less than a month! It is all worth it in the end!!
Well.. What can you say to that?? Apart from HOLY CRAP! this is an incredible thread. Read it start to finish over the last couple of days, and have learnt a lot!! Unbelievable work dude. You have provided all the inspiration needed (and more) for me to get my finger out of my backside and get on it. And after seeing you make some of the more complicated panels, I'm feeling like giving it a go myself, instead of waiting for the cash to buy them.. Slightly embarrassed by the fact we bought our buses at pretty much the same time, and yours looks like this, and mine certainly doesnt But it will eventually.. Next thing on the needed list is a metal bender! And also, I will say a massive thank you for the rear chassis leg pics, thats next on the list for me... Keep up the great work Womball, I for sure have appreciated seeing it! Resto thread of the year FOR SURE!!
Thanks to all of you,I was just thinking that I upset some of you but i guess no worries cheers guys. Really hope to meet you all when i have finished. , as i would like to come to teckenders weekend one day
