Hmm. Wouldn't take my dash wiring as an example. It's getting a bit crowded under there after stuffing in the radio, alarm, central locking, Ebers wiring, etc Stock wiring is easy - there isn't that much of. Get the main sheath/conduit clamped to the front panel using the fold-over tabs, then pick off the stuff that goes to the fusebox and switches from the wiring diagram. Worth giving each connector a scrub with a small wire brush plus a quick nip with pliers to tighten them up. Just follow your nose.
PS Re the Tesa loom tape - well worth using, rather than gummy, sticky insulating tape. Your loom looks like one from a modern car. Doesn't chafe through or rattle.
