So the camper is Sorned and garaged for now.
It's taking precedent over the pickup for a few months and I thought I'd post up here because it keeps momentum up!

I've had 2 days of 5 hrs uninterrupted work on it now, the new garage is starting to feel like mine :)

Got the screen out on my own without breaking it,

Doors off, tailgate and boot lid off, windows and interior out,

Starting in the cab, prepping the crap and glue under the seats

This bus has been a few colours in its life

Not quite decided what colour it's going to be yet?

Yep I did all the welding two years ago, I'm very fortunate in that I only work 3 days a week now, so Thursday Friday are bus days :) except when I have the odd cheeky day off mountainbiking!

Endless prep, wasn't going to take the roof off but the headlining is scrap so jobs easier with it off. Interior is nearly ready to paint.

    What? A petrol tank :)

  15.

Just got to sort out an oxy acetylene set and I can braise the new outlets into the tank... I tried TIG braising them, but something was reacting and blowing the braise off :(

  16. I used a plumbers torch and silver solder, plenty of heat and more than strong enough

  18. I dunno what is going on with it Tony... no petrol fumes in it... I always test an empty tank with a blow torch at arms length to make sure
