Looking to get some windbreaks for when camping so we can have our own little secluded area. (Gotta do a bit of nakey sunbathing, innit). Rather than buying the cheap, multicoloured, nylon beach type windbreak, do they do any decent ones?
Blue Diamond are much better than the nylon rubbish. Proper canvas and decent wooden poles with metal ferrules so the wood doesn't split when you hit it with your mallet.
The ones with tent pole and guy rope arrangements are a PIA! got one - must get round to flogging it. Try Go outdoors see here: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/search/go?view=grid&w=windbreak
cheap's good!! It'll fit on your Westy front rack as well Breaking wind with Greek friends last year in the Peloponnese:
Yep i use them quite a bit lol and the cheapy ones with metal caps n spikes are best , you dont need guy ropes all over like you do with some and you can put them how you like with gap under or right to floor , tits optional
Stripy is cheap and cheerful and if you have to chuck em its not the end of the world. btw - mossie not - my lot would be inside that, not on the outside. Is that "big beans" for dinner. If so I can understand the wind issues. big beans, feta, squeaky cheese, spanikotitas....mmmmmmmm. got me thinking greek for tea would be nice.
