Who the hell has peacocks as a pet in a housing estate?

Thank god the elephants at the zoo down the road can't get into my garden

 

Elephants are good! They play football.

 

Yes but have you seen them stand on each others backs in a row and run around the garden

 

They are always sticking their noses in other peoples business as well.. or stealing sticky buns.

When I was a lad and lived in Wickford Essex the local slaughter man (Billy Foyle) had in his front garden a very big cage with two real live lions in them. It was adjacent to a big estate and on a main road. You could hear them roar at night. He also had 35 monkeys and when he had a row with his eldest son, his son let the monkeys out. Funny to see them climbing the lamp posts in the high street. Just thank full he could find the key for the lions.

 

We had Peacock Gate in the next village to us, Me mates dad Royston ended up in trouble.
