where to go? Forest of Dean vs Cheddar (Somerset)

    Id be happy sitting in a field eating cheese for a week.

    Just to confuse you a little in your choice.

    The forest of Dean is a superb place to visit, they have a wide choice of campsites some are forestry run and very good others are private and also very good.

    The FOD offers superb places to visit from the famous Symmonds Yat to clearwell caves , Tintern Abbey, the forest of Dean steam railway,Littedean jail, woods , lakes and loads more, we like the fod very much and find something new and surprising each time we visit, it really is a gem of a place with very little traffic - also Ross on Wye and Monmouth are on the doorstep - Go forest of Dean:)
