  20. Are you running a standard solex ? This sounds typical worn throttle shaft bushes, will always fire up cold but struggles when warm.
    Will cause lean running which is why your engine is running hot, as engine warms so the tollerance between shaft and bushes will increase
    so when you try and start your hot engine you are pulling to much air through shaft ends.
