What's the furthest you have driven in a day in your bus?

How far is it for you then? About 100 miles for me.

About 200 miles if I have the right Dent.

 

We did Newquay to Birmingham in one go once - 250 miles.

 

It's near Sedburgh.

 

I reckon you have

 

480 approx, windsor to loire valley with pickups in watford and the east end on the way. 4 adults and some large speakers. My 1600tp was struggling up the hills.

 

56 miles from me so not too bad... will be setting off v.early friday x

 

crewe to loch gairloch

took us 14 hours enjoyed every driving minute (except for the trafic jam near inverness 90 mins)

 

I bought my bus from Glasgow so had to drive from Glasgow to Sheffield which is 254 miles, had a couple of breaks but did really well, took WAAAAAAY longer than Google estimated though! then the next day drove another 120 miles back to Bedfordshire.

 

Bournemouth to Camper Jam, set up camp, daughter projectile vomited over everything, packed up and drove back.

280 miles up with diversions to pick up various people for a convoy and 270 back. So 550 in total and just over 10 hours driving in 12 hours of leaving my house.

 

In 1978...........approx 450 miles Dubai, UAE to Doha Qatar, all at 50 mph......................8 1/2 hours as there wasn't any traffic on the roads in those days.

im close...639 miles...gifforn in germany to newbury berkshire. was comming home from vw 60th aniversary of commercial vehicles in 2007. met some people and traveled back from their place to home in a day only stopped for fags (i smoked then) coffee top ups and pee stops and of course ferry. cant remember how long it took but ages springs to mind. i also did 477 from a vw show in koblens to home. again fags and coffee kept me going. i sometimes drive to liverpool from home, its only about 200 but so painful on our crowded roads.

 

400 ish miles Aberdeen to Stafford picking up the westy in the freezing cold no working heaters or seals on doors or poptop god it was cold!

Longest single one day drive in the camper was around 1300 kms. From north of Brisbane to home, stopping only for fuel, coffees & ciggies.
It was a family emergency, normally we would only do 400 -500 kms a day & often a lot less.

 

Don't think i've done more than 300 miles in one day with the bus, but i have done 722 miles in a 1200 beetle when we went to Francorchamps. it took me 18 hours. I don't recommend doing that in one go.

 

1 531 km. in 2 days when we picked up Erik's from Harstad. One of the best trips ever

 

Probably Minden to Freiburg

 

I flew from essex to cornwall, then drove from cornwall to south wales then onto essex, all in a day, about 800 miles, 400 in the bus

 

matlock to Swanage. about 250 miles, once drove onto Looe for a week so drove back their which was about 290 I think...don't really like motorways try to take less stressful A roads when we get near Sutton Scotney then towards Salisbury...A30,,,fantastic road too arrow straight with very little traffic...
