Footballers are like kittens. I had 4 once and I'd sit them in screw box lids in a row and stroke each one in turn and tell it that it was the best/prettiest/nicest cat. They sucked it up for a while, but outgrew their boxes eventually and ignored me, as cats do. :)

I hate to say it, but I don't think a change in manager is going to be magic wand... Liverpool, Man U... both not doing as well as the fans ask with the revolving door policy. I hate to say it even more, but the longevity of Arsene Wenger is showing dividends this year. I'm hoping Pochettino can build a similar legacy at spurs.

Is a new manager going to come in with an open cheque book in january and transform the team? probably not... the January window is rarely the best for transfers.

  9. He's not so special now is he :)

The bloke drips arrogance, he's a nob! Hopefully he will now ******* off abroad. I'm not just saying that as a Gooner.
The problem now is Chelsea will win their next few games now they are manager less.

They should give me the managers job, I would tell the players that they should see it as privilege to play for this great club, they should be sweating blood week in week out and if they don't pull their socks up they won't get any F---ing money, if they don't like it they can clear off, I'll get the youngsters to play, I'd sooner go down fighting

Someone on the radio just said Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I don't know what they were on, but I think they are confusing wealth with support

  13. In thief world maybe there's bigger clubs in the championship with more history

I have this all day at work with the CFC fans friendly banter I hasten to add

I was gonna post that earlier but Iv'e put the boot in to Bazzer enough  it's true thou,Chelsea are not and have never been or will ever be a big team, if they went down they would struggle for support, it's just his money, no one else in the country likes them or ever will, bigger teams in the championship just ain't had the luck or the money, one day they will have, Soz bazzer It's about your team not you :( chin up

So we are a small club, how about when we used take 5-6000 fans to most away games, even when we were in the old second division. In the 70/80s we had the biggest away following in London, more than Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham , only Man Utd would take more fans away, do you think these fans have disappeared, it's the same the whole country over working class fans are being priced out, but go to any pub in sarf London and you will see these fans
What qualifies you as a big club anyway , history, trophies, support, money, world recognition, we are over 100 years old so we have the history, we have won every trophy, we have the support, we are know all over the world and as everyone knows we have the money,so of course we are a big club, not as big as Barcelona, Man Utd, Real Madrid but bigger than most
Chelsea being the most hated team in the country isn't a new thing, in the 60s we were the flash cockney Bs from the Kings Road, in the 70/80s we were the scum of English football because of our hooligan problem and now because we have the money

  20. Barry that season you went down your home gates dropped drastically &a yes your away support has always been good,
When Spurs went down their home gates rose I've always found Spurs had the best away following of any London IMO
I'm 54 used to travel a lot with the football ,Birmingham used too have a big away following hated going there and wolves
I don't think people are having a pop mate ,like yourself we all love our clubs, whether we support small or big clubs, there our small or big clubs again I don't think anyone's having a pop
