What options for center/middle seat between drivers and passengers?

Hello there

I was just wondering what options exist for adding a middle seat between drivers and passengers on a walk through model?

I am certain I have seen a 'temporary' add on, but cant fathom where I have seen it.

Does anyone have any ideas who sells them?

Yeah that's what I had thought but cant see one on their site. They have the buddy seats for the rear but nothing that attached between drivers and passengers...

(unless I don't see it on their site)

 

Bluebird do one or you can get the original double seats that work of the original mounting points but I believe there like hens teeth!!!

Was just looking but I don't. Wed did a van which is on the prototype bay and featured in camper and commercial mag, Mr Brightside who had one, I know the first one he brought was just a double front seat though and not the clip in one, But there hard to tell the difference till you go to fit or something. I have fitted the bluebird one too, but again no pic's of it up close. That again just bolted in to existing holes but wasn't as clean looking as the OG one.

One of the net of Brightside not the best to see its fittings, but can confirm they just drop straight in. (in an early anyway)

I can confirm they fit straight in.

The kit is called an M501 kit & was a genuine VW accessory.

If you see one for less then £150, buy it !

Im gonna shove a bass bin there with a seat pad on top. I like it reasonable open so that I can step over into the back. I need some bass (I'm not talking 10000kw) just a moderate unit as it feels a bit too trebly in there at the moment and the noise of the bus overpowers my week stereo.

 

Do these seats come with seat belt fittings or do you pick up on existing mounting points?

I contacted Bluebird Customs and am pleased to say they are getting more of their seats in. I have placed an order with them for the seat so hopefully will get that when they come back in stock
