What are those magnetic cap things that you see on some pumps?

 

Dunno, I've not noticed.

 

Somewhere on the pump, about eye level, it says put your magnetic fuel cap here. No idea how it works though.

 

My fuel caps attached to my car with a little 3 inch long rubber strap.
