  3. New tyres now fitted
    195/70/17 commercial all round
The fitter insisted 40psi on the rear fully loaded though and this feels a bit soft to me.
Still thing the fronts too high though

    What length are std shocks?

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

front will drop when you sit in it, rear looks lowered or probably saggy arsed, you could drop the front one or pick the rear up one.

    40 rear is right

  6. The sticker says 46 fully loaded, does tasty sound about right?
    Thanks

Tastey sounds about right to me.
    Stick with the sticker.
I'm going to measure a few today at the front for you, yours looks like it's doing a wheelie!

  8. Thanks Zed
The front doesn't drop much when I sit in it at 10 stones
    Could it be the shocks?

    I always thought 30 front, 40 rear?
    I haven't got a sticker though.

I know it's an early, but tape hooked on gutter to centre of wheel 1445mm

    That's right for unloaded.

I have 16 1/4" for this one, not much difference?
I think Ricky is right, you have a saggy arse.

    Nice one!
    Fronts 30 either way?

    My own 68 sticker says
3/4 loaded 29 psi front, 29 psi fully loaded
3/4 loaded 36 psi rear, 42psi fully loaded

Interesting, I better let my tyres down a bit at the back...

I think it changed for lates and possibly again for a T4 engine?
I'll double check a few lates for stickers later...

Oops a bit slow to update this.
Totally empty late bay - 17.5" from arch to wheel centre
Westy late bay with furniture all in and some stuff in cupboards (I assume) 16" same measurement.
    Hope that helps.

  20. Me too
    Thanks Zed
So it seems mine is std at the front and possibly saggy at the rear
I have changed all four tyres now for 195/80/15 c
It seems to cruise better and the steering feels lighter
I can turn corners with one hand on the wheel
Still fancy tickling it with a lowering stick though
Oh and twin carbs, 3bow roof rack and newer/tidier alloys
    Al
    Thanks for everyone's advice
