No adjusters, It's 17.5 inches from the arch to the centre of the hub Just confused as to why the wheels look so small
Looks very similar to mine, Maybe tintops are lighter over the front Havng you had yours lowered now?
I need new tyres before next weekend so don't have time for the wheels and tyres route Plus still like my alloys My Dilemma is if I get 195/70/15 to fit these alloys and fill the arches then if I go lower in future the tyres may rub
The only thing I would put in the mix is the et on those empi's, my van is down by a spline on the back, I had 185,65's and the side wall of the tyre was very close to the lip of the inner arch. If you go bigger on those empi's you may get some rubbing regardless that yours isn't lowered. This is the reason I've gone back to steels.
If you can put the wheel on and let the jack down without it actually hitting the inner arch if won't rub as it get further away if you hit a bump. a few mm clearance is enough.
I agree but my point was he wants wider tyres so they may be close or touching as mine were close at 65. Not got that issue now I'm back on steels
I was given a set of steels by @topbananaracing , I sprayed them satin black, bought some new tyres they look awesome
Thanks for the info Chris I will make sure the garage is happy that they won't rub before we go. Tbh I hadn't thought of that, my current 195/65 are very close to the arch but as this is the first van I've owned I thought it was normal Al
No worries mate, empi's I think have an et of 20, the higher the number the closer to the hub the outer edge of the wheel will be and further from the wheel arch. If you had an et of 30 you would have tons of room even on a lowered bus. Good luck with the new tyres and hopefully they will fit no problems.
Not sure what et stands for but it's the offset Not sure what the et is on steels, all I know is now I've switched to steels, I have loads more room between the tyre and arch.
