What car

I don’t even remember what car I learnt to drive in or passed my test, probably it was that bad, so maybe A Peugeot 306

 

My Dad let me learn in his brand new 72 Avenger....took test in driving schools Escort ( 6 lessons and test for £20 ).... much nicer and easier to drive.

 

Took my test and passed in a BSM owned Ford Anglia 105E

 

Renault Clio MK3, I'm pretty sure it was a 1.5l diesel.

My dad's 1969 jade green metallic Mark2 Ford Cortina 1300 Super. What a great car that was! Wish I had it now.

Mini 850, easy to learn in, easy to reverse, park, 3 point turn. Test route was well known and day before, instructor took me round the route. On the day, road works in town, test mostly in traffic. Nice easy pass. Those were the days.

That looks more like the 80’s Nissan cherry, after they dropped the name ‘Datsun’.
