Helped some people after their car battery went flat. Had to go get some jump leads as they had spent all morning in the sun with the blower on and and the engine off. They were from miles away and the RAC said it would take three hours to get someone out!

 

Took the westy to Burnham on Crouch to take my lad to his nephews cinema party at the Rio, Cars2, then onto the seafront for ice lollies, that took most of the day, now waiting for my dinner watching the Bee Movie

 

Playing hide and seek with my two girls in the garden. Sun is shining and it's glorious. Also planning my route to VW Kampers next week.

 

Ive had the kids all day whilst the wife was at work
Just loaded the car up with the chainsaw and axes etc to start getting my winter logs in
Connected up the trailer only to find half the trailer lights arent working
GRRRRRRRRRRRR fecks sake why does nothing go smoothly

I cant wait till the bus is on the road ill get loads of logs in there

 

Just got back from Weston Super Mare, and prior to that brean...........campsite review to follow

 

Para, take the bulbs out and check the bases aren't corroded. Also check the pins are making good contact with the bulbs. Failing that, give the plug a wiggle as the socket normaly gets corrosion inside and won't work.

 

Took both dubs to a car show @ Exmouth in sunny Devon (and it was)

28 vdubs there today...great turn out, and saw redarmy there too (good to seeya Rich)

Having a glass of red had a fantastic weekend @ SCC

 

Spray painting my cab interior! Never done it before and tried a test patch somewhere unnoticeable by the seat and it looked good, so I've just spent 2 hours getting all Banksy ;D

 

Spent most of the day on the bus. Achieved very little as I ran out of welding gas, but managed to remove some more stuff so not totally wasted.

We didn't wake until 11:30 today !!!!

We NEVER sleep in. Weird ! (although we had a couple of bottles of wine last night ;D )

Quickly got showered, dressed and did the bare minimum of housework. She swept and vacuumed and I mopped (we are 100% floorboards downstairs), got the dogs in the bus and headed out.

Went to Flatford Mill, walked for about an hour over Dedham Vale, made a cuppa in the van, drove to Frinton On Sea, walked the dogs some more, got Fish n Chips and ate them in the van then drove home.

Had a great day apart from almost crashing Polly on way home (see other thread).

 

It was my boys first birthday party today so had a massive celebration for that
