Nothing constructive planned. Wife has the girls today, so home alone.

 

Picking up the first Brits that arrives by plane to go to SCC upcoming weekend.
And later today we'll start up a J. Maher racing engine , hectical times

 

Mainly keeping out of the way ... Freya has a friend to play ... she may only be 6 2/3 but it just isn't cool to have Mum hanging around!!!

 

Well today i had a wonder to the new Asda thats just opened yesterday, small version, and its pritty cool, loooool smal prices as the big super store looool. having a lazy day today, sat here on my lappy, yayayayayya i got it back yesterday, sooo pleased,

 

Can't believe I've done jack today. Only plus point is arrange a visit to VW Kampers next week and provisionally book a visit to G'Day Combis week after. Does that count as productivity?

 

Smug post alert!!!


Had a good day today, checked both front wheel bearings. Checked rear brakes and adjusted. Checked oil, plugs and points. Re-torqued the CV joint bolts. Adjusted the fan belt tension and checked all over for leaks.


Now got a beer in hand and the sausages on the BBQ

 

Dried out the tent, groundsheet and windbreak, cleaned the mat, unblocked the drain cleaned out the garage and am now washing the buggy project for some photos before I put it up for sale.

sat on the sofa after a roast pork lunch and apple crumble and cream, now downing a cider whilst watching porridge 8) added bonus my mrs spilt her drink down her front and took off her top in front of me : lol

 

Fitting alfa Romeo 147 front seats in the bus . 1 down 1 to go

 

Picked up the rear bumper and mirrors I bought off ebay. Got a jack as well but not sure if it's a VW one or not.

 

Had a lay in this morning then went to a carboot where i got a waste water tank to use under the bus for £2
Then went to osmotherly on the north york moors
We walked round cod beck resovoir with the kids and saw my very first adder slither across the path in front of us
Had an icecream and spotted an aussie import late bay in the car park
As we left to come home a dippy old bird decided she was squeezing past me in her car as i was leaving the car park
She made me laugh so hard as she scraped all down the side of her car on a great big lump of rock

 

well today i have done bugger all,

Wishing i had a Other half to do stuff with,

Oh well, Now watching a Carry on film
