1.) People who see us coming, and pull out thinking "It's only a camper van, it can't be going that fast".... 2.) Drunk drivers... (Don't get me started...)
Old people on the road. Down here in Bournemouth. Or 'Gods waiting room' as its also known the number of old people driving badly is amazing. Just last week I was behind an old lady who drove at 25mph regardless of speed limits and if that wasn't annoying enough she drove a whole foot across the middle of the road so cars coming the other way had to avoid her and I couldn't overtake. I understand most rely on driving for their independence but I think it should be compulsory to have a regular driving test past a certain age. Not a full test but one to determine ability, reactions and their vision.
we have sans permit cars over here ,the top speed is 30mph ,I can imagine what would happen if they got introduced in England... btw if your old and drunk, it is the perfect vehicle... ;D
total agreement Robo, i tootle along in my old bus , everyone rushes on , leaves the road to me, i do drive the john muir way ,"Slowly up thru the gears, stop at junction , select gear ..... , nice and steady, i"m taxed , mot"d , insured, people dont like my driving way? tough! i have my spare on my front panel , THAT ! is my "crush zone " that i never want to test !!! also drum rear brakes , yeah, dont even have a sound system, i like to hear ,feel, my engine working , hell , i even removed the front interior floor to window heat pipe so i can Smell the engine! (i know , but ...) it"s a bus/love thing , people !
