Dont worry about propex or erbers Darren They dont work when the leisure battery is flat Ive got a very ugly looking floor heater in my van that also needs no electric connection On its lowest setting it keeps the van toasty warm and it makes no noise either

Just picked up a Carver 1800 from fleabay for 99p!!!! Checked all the fitting dimensions using Fugly's berlin as a guide and it looks good!! So that's a van heater that matches the original westfalia installation tucked away in a cupboard for 99p.....I'm one happy little bunny tonight!
Heater's been offered up, template made, pilot holes drilled and all looks ok! Going to cut a big hole in my bus floor tomorrow...hope I don't cock it up!!
Looking good. Are you going to fit a heat shield/deflector between the heater and the kitchen block to protect that woodwork. My Westy heater was installed from new , here's a pic
