Or your Mrs shouts out something to you so you stop and slip your glove off, then pull up your helmet then pull yourself up from under the van and grab the bit that you just welded!

Or you dont realise your overalls have pushed up your leg until the blob of red hot weld metal has gone down into the top of a well laced up boot.

 

The blob of weld sizzling in your ear is by far the best part of welding...
