Berghaus everytime. I wear them for work, expensive but comfy straight out of the box. Go outdoors always seem to have a sale on. They ain’t cheap, but neither are my feet as I’m on em all the time. But as your close to it, try Strikeforce up by the Frome flyer. Their army issue boots are great! £79.99, but again, really comfy.
Salomons here as well . Used and abused for many years but sadly in semi retirement now They`ve been the only ones that properly fit my yeti-esque wide feet but as said before try a few makes before taking the plunge . I can recommend Bridgedale socks an` all , make such a difference on a long walk / backpacking trip
Skinny 17 year old gamekeeper at work wears them. Does really look like a pair of 3 woods walking about.
Bridgedales here too. Pricey but will out last the cockroaches after a nuclear war. Wear them all the time apart from running, baths and special cuddles.
Sorry, I edited it cos I never read it properly. These are Alico Hunters. They are Italian leather Hunting boots, not Hunter wellies.
Used to be a die hard zamberlan fan but after buying my first pair of meindl boots a few years back I’d never buy anything else. Bit spendy, but superb!
You and me both Sogz These are his beasts. https://www.altberg.co.uk/product/gamekeeper-boot/ A gamekeeper wouldnt be seen dead in a pair of Hunters.
Thanks all after some recommendations from some foot people theses come recommended for people with plantar fasciitis so will give them ago https://www.wiggle.co.uk/salomon-quest-4d-3-gtxr-boots/
I wear Altberg tabbing boots for work. Strikeforce, our local army surplus shop sells them for £79.99
