A quick one - Ive got a pair of Wagenswest 2 1/2" drop spindles for Major, do you need to swap the fixed tie rod for an adjustable one (so its running one either side)?

Cant seem to find any information on this!

  2. Depends if the pitman arm on the spindle is in the same place...

If it is, then no you don't need to swap your track control arms... if it isn't, then you should, as you'll have more lock one way than they other!! :)

I'll have a look later Paul, they do widen the track by 12mm but that's where the spindle is reworked. I guess the trick would be to buy one just in case!

@77 Westy how did you find these to fit?

I think they only widen the track and the tie rods stay as they are Mark. Anyway, you have them so you only need to take a look. :)

“…they only widen the track and the tie rods stay as they are…” this. They are simple to fit but the 195/70x15 tyres fitted to et20 5½x15 wheels rub on the top of the arch.

brilliant, cheers for the confirmation - I couldn't find this info for love nor money :) Ive got similar size wheels to yours but running 195/65 x 15 tyres, should be fine I reckon!!
