Was looking after an in law,working hard as most do,the bus has laid dormant for a while need to spend a few bob on it,so she who must be obeyed & myself can start using it again I do like camping with my little piranha fish,29yrs married this year
Light comes on when you turn the key then when the engine starts it goes out, can' find anything loose as yet
I'm ringing them tomorrow so will ask what the deal is, just wanted to rule everything out before having to strip it all again!
A few weeks ago, you must have got the last one cos I tried to order another one haha I (rightly or wrongly) removed the alternator this evening ready for a replacement which will be arriving tomorrow, I found a couple of brittle cables and questionable connections, any of which could have possibly caused issues? I don' know if it would have got it working but I no longer care as I had lost interest and was buggered if I was gonna refit it to have to take it out again! So hopefully with better connections and a different alternator I might have it sussed.... we will see
Possibly you could get it checked whilst its out , then you will know if you have a spare and you can fit your new wires ready and get someone to check they are ok first too . Is the replacement free or have you got to return the other one ? If so worth checking first .
I had to get it from another company but I was sending an exhaust back to JK as they sent the wrong one so they said to send the alternator with it if I could get it off in time, luckily I am now an expert in removing alternators so its on its way tomorrow
