Ultrasonic Cleaning...

Anyone know anything about how the system works, specifically testing the transducers and amplifier?

What have you broke or what are you buying thats broke?

 

Surely not an "electric toothbrush"

Ultrasonic wash tank, a big one tho, 60l tank or thereabouts... makes the right noises, but it isn't cavitating... and unfortunately google is failing me on the testing side of things...

I'm guessing that I'd need an oscilloscope to check the output of the amplifier, but the transducers have me miffed

I bought it awhile ago, just not got round to sorting it yet, and I thought I'd ask TLB if anyone is in that field

I just bought one at work ...king expensive for a decent one just big enough to get two carbs in 1500 squids ...glad it wasn't my money

 

the ebay ones are small and will struggle to fit a single carb
