WANTED Type 4 F.I. parts.

Just read the list again - it's the Californian '79s that don't have the resistor pack...

 

Cali 79's were a weird beast mine is a federal 79 so has differences it all gets a bit fuzzy around the 78/79 era buses with FI

Cats, lambda, hall effect, ICU etc

 

If Nzkidreturned's kit is non-cali, I'd fit the lot, it's bound to go better.

 

Yep, late 79 Cali - the double relay on mine has an extra terminal, Hall effect dizzy etc, etc......

I have these fi parts both come from a 78 US van (ohio).
They are untested and i also have a fuel pump.
I would be happy to post them to you then you could test them and send me what you think they are worth?. Or you could send me any type 4 parts in return, i've just bought a bare cu code engine

022 906 021 AE
According to Ratwell this is for "1978 Type 2 1970cc (CJ,GE) California Automatic Transmission" and so sounds right for yours.

 

i'd deffo be interested as i really want a spare relay, i'd rather you tell me a price though mate = or let me know what you're after?

They are £129 on eBay but happy to knock over £100 off those stupid prices So how about £25 delivered?

I've just had a dig though my box of FI bits and the only other bit I want to get rid of is my spare air filter - £25 + postage for that. But doubt you'll need one as not likely to fail!



I do have various spare injectors and the metal injector rails etc., but am going to hold on to those. If however you ever had problems in that area I'd happily give them up to keep someone else going

 

And I'm also interested in a double relay if anyone else has more than one!

@pkrboo - is a FI wiring harness from a Californian '79 (without resistor pack) any use to you?

 

You can buy new fuel pumps off of ebay £40 or so

 

stil looking for bits - especially double relay but am hoping that @nzskidReturned still wants to do a deal on his parts.
