After my recent fart around getting the van started and not having any spare injection parts i'd like to stock up on a few bits "just in case" anyone got any bits they don't want as they have gone over to carbs? let me know and a price/swap you have and let's go from there, particularly keen on a spare double relay but open to offers on other bits you have.
    Thanks Rick.

  2. I have a few FI bits I'm wanting to get rid of.

Am I right in thinking you have an automatic? I have an ECU for an automatic that I got in a job lot of bits. Mine isn't automatic and so will never use it myself. If you are interested I'll get the part number off it so that we can check it's the right one for your age bus. What age is yours?

Does yours have the resistor pack on it? (on the firewall by the double relay). Late 78 and 79 didn't... If you didn't then I have a complete wiring harness also going spare.

Finally I have an air filter box.

Let me know if any of this is of interest to you and I'll get photos etc.

    Thanks.

    Nick...

march 78 auto yes to extra pack by double relay

  4. Thanks.

My spare harness is no use to you then, but the ECU might be - will get it's part number for you. Sorry another question - is yours a Californian van? They had different ECUs...

didn't realise these cali vans had so many odd parts! it's the double relay i'm most keen on a spare of i guess but will see what you come back with, wonder why an auto ecu is different?

  9. Yes, the cali ones had lots of tweaks that were needed for their strict emissions rules...

Afraid I don't have a spare double relay any more - passed mine on to @stevebay who needed one. I feel I should have a spare and so if you find someone with an additional extra one please let me know :)

You are lucky you don't have a late 79 cali van - even the double relay is different on that!

  19. Am sure you'll have seen this page, but in case not, the following lists all the part numbers for each bit of the FI system broken down by year - and so will help you know exactly which spares you need:
