A lesson to be learned from over tightening the sump plate nut... one dead case... I'll experiment fixing it once I've got a suitable TIG unit, but until then, it'll go on the possible junk pile
Hi Paul, TIG sounds a lot better idea than the previous owners plastic padding filler fix!! So glad you are on the case (sorry couldn't resist it). Don't think it would have been long before it did more than just leak oil badly. Onwards and upwards! G
Found a few minor horrors on mine while the engine is out the bus but that is bad! I suppose there is always a desire to over tighten for good luck but its really not needed,
