WANTED Twin Carb Setup

Hi all,
Looking for a twin carb setup for my 76.....
Currently have centre mount Dellorto DRLA40, but am about to upgrade engine just like it to breath better.....

I have a dual Kadron setup with scat linkage and airfilters, jets for both 1600 and 1641. Was setup by Kaddieshack in the USA and was running on a ghia until last week. I'm changing the setup so no longer needed.
They would be fine to bolt on and go, if i was keeping them id just give them a clean and re-gasket so i could fit and forget.

Looking for £250

 

just buy another DRLA 40 ? a pair of manifolds and a linkage set

 

I wish it was that easy....... Can't get for love nor money.......

 

Well pairs come up and sometimes the odd one
I have a pair of 36's but they are in need of some serious work with quite a few bits missing ,only really good for spares .....I paid 180 for my decent 36 and sold a decent set of 40s for 200 ..

Would you sell my the ones that need work?? I have a few bits in the workshop, but have accounts with Eurocarb...... So might be able to get them re conditioned

 

No they are not for sale .....what I will do is take a few pics and if you want the hassle of putting them back together and replacing missing parts they are yours as long as you don't profit from them and cover the postage ...
I can't remember what is missing and I need to find the one shaft at work ....one is completely stripped the other is not but they are a matching pair of 36 s

My plan was to blast the bodies and build them back up but to many other things going on

What size engine are the going on ?

 

Presently Steve it's standard 1600...... But over Christmas a 1641...... But if I put a 74mm crank in would be running at 1760.....
I won't be profiting at all.... I just wanna run a pair of Dells instead of the single...... It's a thing of beauty but it's just not going to be up to the job of 1760 if I go down that route.....

Ok so they are yours .....you can either arrange a courier to pick them up from my work or i can post out ? i`m happy either way ......

i will get the broken screw thingymajig out ( i think that was where i was at when i stopped )

you can get alot of laser cut stainless bits on ebay now for not much money ......I also have a few gaskets and a few other bits from when i was going to turbo prep Zeds 40s

Its still not going to be cheap to buy the missing bits tho ......

I still think your single 40 would be absolutely fine as people run a single webber only downside is the long runs .......

OR i have a pair of DNCFs as fitted to ferreris in need of a total refurb ...


i`m just happy that there is a chance they will be used and out of my garage
