To all those doubters

The overwhelming Olympic spirit and sense of camaraderie for me has been the most incredible thing. I've just put a post up about my day yesterday and despite going on my own, I spent the entire day chatting and making friends (the 8 pints of Pimms may have helped) and wasn't lonely for a single minute.

I think LOCOG should be applauded for having the foresight to pick the most amazing venues to really show London off at its best - the beach volleyball at the Horseguards Parade looked stunning visually, as did Hyde Park and Greenwich Park etc etc
