Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by Honky, Aug 10, 2011.

  1. I've booked the Friday off so we can come down during the daylight this time (and because it's my birthday)

Are we going to paypal you the money again Horts or do we pay the site directly?

    £7/van/night (trying to budget)?

    One month to go!!

So far a majority of people that have replied to me can make the date.

When I tried to find a venue in the first place last year I found it very hard to find a place that was open in Jan/Fab, where we could be noisy all night, had water, toilets, allowed fires, and has a function room should it rain a lot.

We could move the venue but I think it's something a bit special and a geographic move could be just as disruptive to some attendees as the date change.

Do you know anywhere that covers all the criteria above and in the same approx area?

  11. You've got me there, ill be there come hell or high water. Been looking forward to this for too long!

  12. is 10-12 confirmed then?

Yep, 10-12 confirmed. Any further issues and It will be in our garden - not that you'd all fit.

  17. Can I change my maybe to a definite as I have now booked the Friday off. (And quite looking forward to it)

Bit of a newbie at this organised camping lark. Are there limited numbers and do we have to pay up front??

No need to pay anything, Ginger's VW will be sponsoring the event so camping is now free.

  19. WaHooooo... Thanks....

As a token of my appreciation I'll bring a sheet of 8 x 4 ply and an Axe... That'll keep us warm
