Here is a bit of blurb about the site:-

Our site is attached to the back of our 16th century Somerset Pub, the field is flat and kept well trimmed and is situated in real countryside with lovely views.
There is a tap and sink for fresh drinking water, our famous cold water bush shower, and a temporary toilet for when the pub loos are shut overnight.
We allow campfires in our portable fire pits, and for larger gatherings, a larger bonfire are. We can supply you with logs, firelighters and kindling.
We can supply takeaway Beer, Cider, Wine and food but have an award winning dining room and bar if you fancy a break inside!
There is also a Boule court, a large T.V.screen for films in our Barn, a collection of ducks and chickens and plenty of good hearty walks.
Our charges reflect that we are a basic proper campsite, think 1950s and 60s, and dont charge for silly extras, like awnings, dogs and parking!
We are popular with families meeting up together, cycle clubs and people who just like to chill out.
We are not really suitable for the large ‘gin palace motorhomes but love old VWs and other classics.

Daft question, but just to be sure - I'm assuming there's no hookup? Because I'm going to be packing the van tonight and I'll leave all the hookup cables and stuff behind if they're not needed.

Daft question, but just to be sure - I'm assuming there's no hookup? Because I'm going to be packing the van tonight and I'll leave all the hookup cables and stuff behind if they're not needed.

That's OK, it's just a couple of kilos less to carry in the van, that's all - every little helps.

We will try and get there early/mid morning so expect to see us around 14:00.

No.

Seconded...unless to the pub as Mrs MH says. Will be arriving late afternoon Saturday so may have some catching up to do. Meal in pub, few beers, walk back to vans and then continue drinking takeaway beer from aforementioned pub sounds just the ticket!
