TLB Summer Camp - The Bell Inn, Frome - 27-29th July 2012

No this is now 10mins from my house running out of excuses not to come

 

Erm, we are staying at a pub? Do we need anymore entertainment for any day?

 

Having driven Reggie and his rejuvenated engine around the waterlogged lanes of Dorset & Devon for the last week me and Mrs J can appreciate the problems with location. Hopefully the new site will be dry'ish and we will be able to sample the effects of the different ciders. Look forward to seeing you all.

 

sorry guys we're not going to be able to make the new camp location . We're going to be in lyme regis all week and are booked to move onto devon on the 28th. Its 1hr 45 mins the wrong way otherwise we'd be good. Shame but hope you all have a blast and a pint of the strongest cider for me

mike dont go fighting any somerset pikeys, i've heard they make you into sausages ;D ;D

 

The Calne Bike Meet (biggest bike event in SW apparently) is on in Calne on the Saturday. We'll be toodle pooting up there on the saturday (25miles). Anyone else fancy it?

 

So, what's the usual / expected plan for the Saturday evening? I think I'll be able to pop across Saturday afternoon and stay the night before pootling back on Sunday but just wondered if the usual state of play is bbq and chat around the vans or to the pub or whatever.

I'm thinking about bringing the wife and 21 month old daughter or not. If it's to the pub then obviously we'll be stuck putting daughter to bed and then can't stray far from the van etc. So it might just be me along to meet you all and get drunk

I live 8 mins away! We're in cardiff saturday (with PinkArmy) to watch some olympic games so we wont be about during the day by the time we get there there will be no time or reason to set up a tent (beetle owner) so will be getting a taxi home and see you all sunday morning frome is a pretty town..the people in it though - not so pretty (apart from me)- it's abit like bridgwater :bag:
