Thinking of going back to a type1 engine

Hi there brought a1700 type. 4 engine off dreaded eBay and it was ment to be a recon with work done to the bottom end when they rebuilt it they used sealant between the to halfs and I ran it up with fresh oil and it leaks like a diff from the bottom of the crank case

 

tried checking if the bolts have the right torque ?

I'm picking up mine from elite vw few say it's to cheap but I'm nearly out of funds and the price suits me I'm hoping to pick it up and fit it on Tuesday evening so will let u no if there any good !!
