I just wanted to get other people's thoughts on this. Now, of an evening, I might quite enjoy a bit of this. But I have to say I found it more-than-a-tad intrusive, being played throughout the whole day, especially when trying to meet new people, which is one reason a lot of clubs display. However, credit to them nonetheless for playing and persevering in such cold weather. Am I just turning in to an old git or does anyone agree with me?
Thought it was brilliant. I think the mix of a DJ on the decks and some free styling on the drums is wicked. One of their drummers looked about 10 years old !! If they were not outside in the cold entartaining everyone, there would have been no atmosphere out there at all.
Ok, but after a working all my life on jet aircraft, I'm half deaf..........................and if it sounds B@$%# deafening to me............then it REALLY is!!!! If they "transmitted" from over by the go kart track it would have been more bearable Tony
Saw them last year... I was missioning around, so only stopped and part watched them a couple of time, but I didn't mind it... was quite loud though, like you said!!
Yeah it was flipping loud. My wife Kara is suffering from an ear problem at the moment and it really didn't do her any favours (neither did the massively loud tannoy radio system that was being blasted all over the place!)
WHS!!!! Some of us were there to do business, and the racket does nothing for the vendors or customers. Tony
I'm 50/50 on this one, It was nice to bop about too keeping warm, and not look like a weirdo ! But on the otherside trying to talk to customers whilst they or the guy on the tannoy were talking/ playing was a nightmare.
