The space station thing?

I got it flying over France a while ago.

It was all planned gov.

 

Venus. Brightest object in the sky next to the moon (and your cab light). I see him every night.

 

Off the top off my head it was 3x 10sec exposures stacked together. Hence the movement in the stars.

 

Think this was about 8 stacked photos.

 

Just make sure you're not under it when they flush the toilet!

 

My God, you should've seen us!

See Venus every night from our front garden. Brighter than a bright thing!

 

I think i saw it a while ago when we where looking at the moon through our telescope, it was the right shape with the bits out the sides passed in front of the moon, it was pretty quick and massive

 

i believe the ISS moves to fast to view with a telescope,
binoculars would work

Orbits the Earth every 90 mins.

 

Venus is looking particularly bright at the moment,
and just to the left of it is Jupiter ,
before too long the pair of them should appear to be close to each other..

 

Are you sure it wasn't.......

Just at the right angle to the sun, I assume. I did see a bright object to the left of it - must be @art b 's Jupiter. Didn't have me iPhone astronomy thing running...
