  3. Venus. Brightest object in the sky next to the moon (and your cab light). I see him every night.

  5. Off the top off my head it was 3x 10sec exposures stacked together. Hence the movement in the stars.

  11. I think i saw it a while ago when we where looking at the moon through our telescope, it was the right shape with the bits out the sides passed in front of the moon, it was pretty quick and massive

  12. i believe the ISS moves to fast to view with a telescope,
    binoculars would work :thumbsup:

  15. Venus is looking particularly bright at the moment,
    and just to the left of it is Jupiter ,
    before too long the pair of them should appear to be close to each other..:hattip:

    Sorry if I seem a bigger duffer than normal, but this astronomy lark was never my thing.
     
  19. Just at the right angle to the sun, I assume. I did see a bright object to the left of it - must be @art b 's Jupiter. Didn't have me iPhone astronomy thing running...
