It's mainly lights and stuff like that but want it all checking to make sure it's ok you know the alternator and the fuse board , I can do it my self but would rather I pay someone to sort it so I can get on with other stuff got loads going on at the moment
what it looks like is completely irrelevant if your using it man and besides, what other people think of your bus or how they label it doesnt matter either as it isnt theirs, its yours..
Another good point , I'm not fussy about what people think it is my bus it just has to look the way I want it , It was neither going to be a show bus if love nice paint but will only wreck it in the long run plus it cost for a full job on a bus due to the work on them it a lot of graft
I like a good solid van with scrotty looking bumpers, the odd unpainted arch etc so it looks good to me. It looks like being used is it's primary purpose rather than existing for it's own sake. I like a nice shiney van too, but not too pampered and spoilt with all the add-ons.
I had some great times in my bus and logged some good memories It had an mot an engine with massive amounts of endfloat and looked worse than when i bought it It all didnt matter when i had a great weekend at spring camp at gordale scar Or when i had a weekend in derbyshire that put this smile on my face Ive missed out on a year maybe more of using it as ive this idea of perfection in my head It pains me that im missing out on having a bus to use but i have to keep a strong faith it will be all worth it in the end Occasionally this faith wavers and i get very depressed about it all Dude just get it road worthy and go and use it is my advice
Just go camping already dude I shall still wave stupidly at you as we pass on the road & will still take pics and look admiringly at your bus at a show, campsite or car park if I was ever to spot it
Para I've always wondered what those things are on your legs at the bottom, is it to cover up some rather shocking socks or do they stop snakes slipping up your trouser legs? Seriously I've always wondered? EDIT: After submitting this I realised its gonna take someone about three seconds to say feet!
Roflmao There gaitors dude the protect the bottom of my legs from the likes of brambles and nettles etc as well as stopping long grass and the occasional drop into a puddle from soaking my trouser bottoms and my trousers wicking the moisture up They also increase sex appeal

Ha ha I think I'll stick to shorts ;£ I've got most of the parts on order I need but think I need a new fuel pump it runs with fuel in the carbs but dies strait away after its burnt it . Was a new pump too bloody cheap crap
