Not sure if you have already said bit after using it for a week or so how is it? More power, smoother etcetc?
it's more responsive but i've not driven fast or accelerated hard, the autobox changes better from the fluid change, i'm a bit bothered that the bloody heat gauge is reading high again though considering if anything it should now be cooler with no exhaust leaks, altough i'm fairly sure the sender is faulty, looking forward to going on a run in it to try it on a longer road that i can compare it to.
Good, getting a good connection with the cht sender is notoriously difficult, have a read up on the samba about it. Alternatively remove it!!
yeah when i 1st had van it sat at 350, change the plugs down to 270, change the heads and back up to 350, i'm hoping to try and get my multi meter on temp and see what it really is.
just checked over the lights for mot tomorrow and had a look at my broken seat base - a spring has snapped so i've bodged for now, fitted a new fire extingusher as well. this is the wear on my broken seat, hence my wanted post for new. had a brakelight out but all the rest work, fingers crossed for a pass cos i wanna go camping tomorrow night!
if your seat is just a broken spring, take a good one down to a furniture restorers and get another one or two and pop em in? I had to do this on mine due to saggy seats the replacemnets weren't exact but they were close enough.
Congratulations on passing but also finding the only legitimate mot tester with a blind dog and a white stick!
Ha ha those are the best mates to have , luckily when I took my van for its first MOT my DAD didnt even notice it was a converted panel van so I managed to get away with it!
