He sometimes gets it

 

Irritated the neighbours with the grinder...welded up a hole in the rear beam which was pointed out in the last MOT. Turned my attention to some rust bubbles then wished I hadn't. I think I'll get about 5MPG more were I to strip all the paint off the bus! started cleaning up the nearside & rear gutter - can't do the offside because it's a double top and I'm not ready to lift that off just yet. Then a temporary fix to the leaky front end with some clear gutter sealant. Someone has done a truly poor replacement of the front end at some point...and I'm very much not ready to peel that off yet!

 

Blue skies and warm sun today, so windows down and went for a cruise just because I can

While I was at my dad's I was helping him with his computer. He has windows 8 and it drives him nuts. On the desktop bit there's a window that slideshows all the pics the laptop camera has taken. It's plays round half a dozen pics of him looking variously surprised and baffled. I nearly *******ed myself.

 

Taxed it and did the usual checks for a trip out to Dorset and the first camp of the year!

 

Just hope the new ones from C&C last longer on the camper than the ones I got from Mega Bug previously.

Sorted my interior lighting, as in I now have some....then spend aged whittling new glovebox liner to fit, suspect these things would be cheaper if they made them with all the plastic you have to cut away missing in the first place...

Went for a drive....just mooching a bit.

 

it was foggy today so going nowhere, so finished making rear wheel tub closing plate and fitted them,

i think someone couldn't be bothered to replace them when they rusted.
i have my oil cooler behind wheeltub so put in some extra protection


you can only see it when you kneel down but will protect the cooler from stones flyiny into it........... hopefully

 

Had a ride home on the big yellow taxi...

 

Painted the inside of my bumpers in red oxide primer plus also did the inner valance too before the deformation panel gets welded on.

 

Taxed it for a year. Ouch!

 

Gave it a damn good 'de-musting' inside,makes a change from 'de-rusting' on the outside.Went for a drive in it.
