Sort of like those inflatable things they put down the gulleys if you're a bit crap when you go bowling? Could save potential injury if negotiating the doorway is troublesome after a few bevvys on a night out. Good call

  4. Do you have a pic of where the hinges mount?

Just for information wood filler is the same as car body filler you just pay more for a smaller tub

  16. House has come to a standstill (again). Life, poorliness, plotting and scheming and bus have taken precedence.
Anyhoo, have you ever looked on the current visitors ‘guests’ bit? You can see what threads are being viewed by guests.... and it digs up some old gems sometimes. I found this of my cargo floor on an insulation and sound deadening thread.
This is what it looked like in 2012. Under the o/s middle window (and under the floor) is where the bus now needs some work. Obviously some proper poking and excavation is needed first *gulp*

  18. I’m back! But this time with no winter lurgy, a renewed vigour and a fabulous tan!

After Xmas a friend of mine gave me an old (1940s?) room sized wool Wilton rug. It is almost as big as the living room and so does hold off the living room floor decisions at least for a little while, it also took two strapping blokes to carry it. Which meant that there was no way I could hoik it out of the house to give it a good beating.

Still feeling poorly I managed to give it a good hoover and get it down. But I wasn’t happy that if not managed to clean it. I love old stuff but have to give it a good clean up first.

So rather than going out tonight (it’s freezing out there!) I decided to get the bugger cleaned.

I’ve so far managed about three square metres and many more to go.

After the first vax empty I realised this wasn’t going to be a quick clean. Ewwwww!

And as always in this tiny house, I’m doing the good old furniture shuffle!
