The Good Deed Thread.

I helped an old man who could barely talk and walked extremely slowly across a busy road on Friday night, bringing the whole street to a standstill just to make sure he got across OK. He was very grateful and I felt all warm inside ^-^

Also baked some cakes for charity last week, they were lush 8)

 

i"m wiv para on his post! re surviving in truck ,i was usually away from glasgow all wk down south ,london, on the monday me truck got robbed, they took my money ,bank card, the boss"s mobile,when i managed to scrounge the use of a customers landline, he hit the roof re his poxy mobile , me , ? they never got me sarnies! so i made them last the week , got back to glasgow and told boss exactly which orifice he could park his lgv up.(and left 4 pastures new ,hotly pursued by irate truck owner!)

 

Not long ago i asked a chap with no legs if he wanted a push across the road , yes please he said, then would you mind helping me to the shop , no problem i said . half an hour later i thought ,this guy is taking the p , so i wheeled him through the door
of wilkos then legged it
I mean ,there,s a good deed , and then there,s taking liberties

 

I think I must have seen the same chap at the bus stop later. I said to him 'how are you getting on?'
