The end has fallen off

  1. The schrader valve end of the air inlet pipe for my washer bottle has come off. The pipe is perished in places. Is it possible to get a replacement part.

Hoping I can fix. I don't particularly want to have to fit a electric pump. :(

It's just a piece of rubber pipe... Get some more and fit to your fittings. :)
I don't know the size of the pipe, but if you slice it where it's good you can measure the internal diameter.

  3. cup of boiling water to soften the rubber, and it'll go back over the valve fitting once you've removed the old rubber too :)

I'm personally most happy you don't want a ******y noisy electric windscreen washer, it's such a shame to remove the quirks that attract us to these old vans.

  6. Totally agree mate

  7. Plastic washer tube works well, if you can't find any rubber ware.

...or do what I do - chop the ends off and reuse. Often only the bit that's stretched over the fittings that splits and cracks.
