You should make an English version of this like a Morris minor

 

It will be a polyurethane sealant and the best way is to shave as much of it down with a sharp blade then remove the left overs with abrasive paper

Long slow process but no short cuts I know of

I used to stick fibreglass body kits to cars using stuff like it
I hated it when a car came back for repair and the fibreglass was trashed but all the sealant/binder was there in big seams to remove
