    Geordie, if I’m trying to get rid of silicon I use my sharpest wood chisel and some cleaning wipes. Plumb centre used to do the best but they’ve just changed packaging and I’m not sure if it’s the same ‘ingredients ‘ on the wipes. They were awesome, taking silicon off your hands etc like it was butter:)

    @Fog on the tyne this stuff is pretty decent, it starts to breakdown the silicone so it’s easier to scrape off
