yup, today i hated people. all people. everyone
this evening... only most people

 

Wrestled for two hours trying to improve Devon's quality workmanship. Gave up. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

 

Emptied the rest of the beetle parts out of it so it can be pushed into daily driver duties as my caravelle has dumped all its coolant again for the 3rd time in 18 months. 16 litres makes a decent river.

 

Bolt spikes to the bumpers when you park it..
My brother used to own an original Vauxhall Viva which had bolt heads on the front bumper brackets pointing left and right as the widest part of his car.
He always won when somebody cut him up or tried to squeeze past it in Bristol and Plymouth.
Absolutely no chance of the brackets crumpling.
That car drove off Dartmoor on its final drive with a con rod pointing out the bottom of the sump.

 

Drove bus to work.
Booked myself on an "introduction to welding" course at Southampton City College. To try and improve MIG welding on my bus and try some TIG and stick welding.

 

You'll enjoy that course. I did a similar one at Brooklands College last year. Very hands on and the instructors seem to like us slightly older gentlemen over the yoofs they normally have to teach.

I’m still a terrible welder but i know what I’m doing wrong.

i'm calmer now but yesterday i had evil thought and ideas

... no doubt they'll return!

 

Camper battery is flat again after being fully charged 9 days ago so its on charge again before i can use it.

 

Battery charged and camper now sitting in the p-ing rain on the drive.

 

Opened cab doors to allow torrent of water out. Closed them again.

 

Stuck some coulombs up his bottom...

 

On that steep drive, couldn't you just let the handbrake off?
