  2. Just outside Caister, a place called the Grange in Ormesby-St-Mary. We wanted to go to north Norfolk but couldn't get in anywhere as we only booked a few weeks ago. It's a nice little site, about a 10 minutes walk to a dog friendly beach:thumbsup:

  3. Drove it from Lincoln to chelford over the peak district towing a heavy Poptopkitchen. No problems.

Waiting outside SGS aircooled to pick it up and pay the bill - roughly half what its worth or a Scooby conversion.

Turns out I am an hour early.

Paid the bill .. £4409.56 for the MOT. PS dont buy a Devon with belly pans...
Drove it home... after a chat and some hints and tips on doing a decent filler job.

The work was done using a spot welder on the bottom of the sills so it looks stock.

So sad thats hopefully the last visit ever to SGS with Scott in charge as he is tidying out his personal stuff today as he has sold up.

Will post some pictures in an "emergency resto" thread.

According to my estimates it was rotted in 2010 just I did not realise.

Had a fun afternoon after going off to the pub for lunch to celebrate youngest daughter's excellent GCSEs.. in top 2000 in country.

The fun consisted of filler sanding filler sanding a bit of primer in corners more filler.

One bit Scott pointed out was the pillar seam groove under the passenger door on the B pillar actually implied the B pillar was tapered as it was just a groove in thick filler.
So I ran a flap disc down gently and found the edge of the wheel arch all the way down. And then ground out and refilled the old groove in the filler.
Poked a few more rusty bubbles to clean them up, all cracks in too thick filler.
