Butchered an old Land Rover outrigger for the thick steel and a seatbelt mount plate to make this...

I didn't have any belt mounts in the back as mine used to be a panel van so wanted to build something heavy duty so I can use some of @davidoft 's inertia belt brackets when the time comes

 

Rustoleum painted roof then fitted decals. May redo fronts again.

Reset plug gaps and replaced points. First time I've done it myself. Now running like a dream. Really chuffed. Going to make it more difficult to say goodbye though.

Took it to the beach and when I got home stuck a sticker on it.

 

I'd had mine about 17 years before I changed the oil and did the tappets myself! Plus it was at techenders so had loads of help and checking from @jacktatty & @physiopro

 

Taking my starter off for a refurbish.and raking all 4 wheels off to have them powder coated and new tyres fitted when I decide which to fit on standard steel wheels

 

Put some new seat covers on.

 

Also got the flooring down, Homebase tiles and started building the bed.

 

does everything slide round......

 

It does at the moment but just need to fix the bed down and should be fine.

 

One done, one to go...
