It fits into the ashtray... I can see two main issues here........ 1) I'll have to keep an empty cup in the cupholder to use as a replacement ashtray thus rendering the device useless 2) It doesn't come with a gear linkage bush kit so many will be spilling their drink trying to find 1st So if any non-smokers have a bay and have had all the gear linkage bushes renewed, its the perfect xmas gift. If your loved one's route to 1st gear is through neutral, stir a bowl of custard and into gear don't get this for them for Xmas they will not thank you when boiling beverage spills over the back of their hand.
I smoke but never use the ashtray. Out the window job for me (they're roll ups). Can't stand smelly ashtrays. And I've got one of those short shifter things too. So, I'll be deffo getting one of the cup holders - they seem great to me, just the trick. £29 doesn't seem too bad at all either.
Is it just me and my van but if you put a cup in one of these things would the hot beverage not bounce out???
