did he have a well known track record for interfering with minors but managed to avoid arrest due to having friends in high places? Like Sir Cliff Richard?

 

Do his previous appearances on TV, in a swimming pool, with young, semi-naked children, talking about danger, ring of irony?

 

What is it with miners? They're great strapping blokes covered in coal dust. I'd never consider interfering with one - too risky.
